New York City

We once again packed our car and headed for New York City. We camped in Vermont along the way and stopped into New Hampshire for $3.00 pints! Crazy right? But, New York was incredible. The first few days were pretty fun. We saw the Black Keys only hours after arrival, and the next day we headed up to Bronx and saw the second last home game of the Yankees Season.

Got a NY slice on the way to the game
Derek Jeter...At the Yankees game
Day 3 we headed to an off broadway show and saw ‘Stomp’, which was actually really good. It was a little strange because there was no speech throughout the whole show, only percussion, but really entertaining. Hayley (who we met in Montreal and travelled with for about 2 weeks, was literally crying from laughter). The next few days, we were tourists...Central Park, Empire State, Chelsea Market, High line, Time Square all of which were great.

Despite the rain, we headed for the Highline.
Central Park, the Pond.
Time Square, definitely looks better at night!

Alex and Sarah joined us in NYC for a couple of days. We walked over the Brooklyn Bridge, caught the free ferry to Staten Island and saw the statue of liberty. I must say, lady liberty is much smaller than I imagined. We were also lucky enough to see the Hilltop Hoods in Brooklyn which was awesome! It was such a tiny venue, very intimate and just a really great show. Before the show, we headed to Brooklyn Brewing which, was probably another highlight. Anyway, here are the photos, enjoy!

Ladies shopping day. You could spend a day in Century 21 and not get bored! Ever!

Michael made sure we went to all the Seinfeld places.

Inside Central Station, this clock is worth millions of dollars. Its value is something like $20 million. Crazy!
